I buy and sell on amazon. Prices can get a little silly on there (towards both ends of the spectrum, depending on what you buy/sell).

I buy/sell on feebay too, but its fast loosing its trade.

amazon have the edge over feebay any day. No one trusts feebay now.

I always look here first before buying anything online.
I remember everything, even what happened tomorrow.

My main selling site is Amazon, but unfortunately sales have collapsed on there recently. I'm doing less in a week now than I was doing in a day this time last year, it's dire. Having said that, it costs nothing extra to list, and the books can stay there as long as I like. feebay doesn't come near it.

Actually, if sales get much lower, I'm going to have to cancel my promerchant on there, it's really that bad. I think anyone selling books at the moment seriously needs to think about selling on multiple sites, and that will include feebay, amazon and any of the other sites.

Thats another reason why a published api for here would be good, to allow for apps to be written to manage inventory on here and other sites. I think the days of listing and selling on only one place are gone.

I buy a lot on Amazon, nothing at all on eBay now.

I have done well selling rare books on 'the river' - I buy a lot of my books from the bins outside charity shops. Some are sold for pennies because they are 'old' but they are often rare and some I have sold have been older 1st editions.

When I make a sale of a book I bought at a charity shop I share the profits with the charity - a win win situation
