Question Extra space needed Please help.

My secondary shop is now up and although there is much more to work to do on it, it's all straight forward. My main shop is causing me a problem, I sell in a specialised area and an explanation is always useful to my customers but I cannot see anywhere to put this except for flooding each of my listing with the full explaination. Is there an easier answer? Can I write a blog and add a link from my listings to my blog?. Advice from the more experienced would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Hi. Don,t know if this will help but I use my all about the seller page to put the imfo on and link to there from the listing, I found that that works for me.

Thanks for an extremely fast reply. I have thought of that but assumed it may be an abuse of the system. Still not sure how things work here yet and don't want to rock the boat as I am enjoying the stress free atmosphere. I will see how much I can fit on that page. Thank you.

You could always link to a blog from your About me page, as long as it is not e-commerce enabled and links back to eBid, then that would probably be ok. if in doubt email ebid and ask them for advice. Probably someone with more Knowledge will be along soon

Wouldn't link to e-commerce site, would really like ebid to be a challenge to other sites so are sending out fliers to all our customers promoting this site. Does ebid have it's own Blog launching site? If so where would I find it please.

You can always use the 'Notice from the Seller' feature which will show at the top of each of your listings automatically.

    Go to:
    my eBid > my Notices

Add whatever you feel necessary then save it.

Don't think eBid has an official blog but if you gogle ebid blog there are some on the web. Kewtonia has written one here which is quite good.

Thanks Jeweleffects but that has a very limited character count and what I need would be a couple of pages long!! You will understand why when you see my site later. I will probably go with the about me page for now and move it later if more space is needed. Thank you both for your help.

Indeed, the seller notice is limited so the better option, for now, would be your me page (use it as your personal web page).

Actually, this just shows how committed you are and I think it would encourage buyers because, unlike the dark side (where forum so-called know-it-alls) discourage creating a me page (because apparently no one reads them) - it is highly encouraged here on eBid as everyone likes to read them - the mentality is different here, people want to know a little about you.
