joined a couple of days after bad experiences on E-Bay, and more so PayPal, so wont use it. Retired Egyptologist aged 69, been to over 100 countries since leaving school. Hopefully someone can tell me when I put things up for bid, where on earth is the relevant box to indicate something is used as opposed to new????

On your item edit page, where it says: Item Name - right next to it you will see a little box which says either new or used and next to it with an arrow pointing downwards - click on the arrow for your option.
