would appreciate if any body could tell me the best way to create a shop banner?seem to have hit a brick wall on this one!

This is the banner maker I use. It's free and easy.

Just go to the top of the opening page and click on" try our free banner maker"

Once you have designed your banner... save it to your desktop so you can do further work on it. I make a few copies just in case!!
You will need to resize it for 1) your store
2) your signature.

Use this link to get your banner resized very quickly and easily to the correct pixel size.

You can create an image in 'Paint' that comes with windows just save it as a jpeg and host it whetrever you host your images and away you go. Only limited by your imagination.
