LMAO @ all references to ticky tacky stuff *Ahem..

    OK things that bug me..LOL

Kids on wheelie trainers in the supermarket where I work
    Kids on wheelie trainers anywhere
Me being jealous of kids in wheelie trainers
    I want wheelie trainers

Oh and drivers who pull out in front of you only to slow down cos they don't know where they're going; and their kids are wearing wheelie trainers.

The things that bug me and my partner especially are the motorway traffic wombles. They really annoy me.

    • Wasps on buses
    • Pretending not to be bothered by wasps on buses because I'm a man
    • Mobile phone ring tones - unless it's the same as mine
    • Fortune tellers
    • Daytime TV
    • People who walk too slowly or stop inexplicably on a busy pavement
    • Swede
    • Chavs

Also, Matrix signs on motorways where they say 60 or "queue caution" at 11pm when I am normally the only bloody car on the road.

Postmen who do not knock or even bother trying to gain a signature for a signed for package.

Ice cream men at car boots, they always take more than me. Also when they go down the street in the middle of winter

Forums where you cannot have freedom of speech

When you are on the landline number and then your mobile rings at the same time and then you hang up on the first call only to answer the mobile and it is some git trying to sell you something that you don't need

When 2 programs that you want to watch start and finish at the same time and you forget to record one

Refuse collections only being every 2 week really annoys me

People who nick all the YDC chocolate

    Getting junk faxes

Telesales people who don't like the word no

    Ann Robinson and Terry Wogan

    Parking wardens

    Community support (nosey) officers

    That just sums it up.

    sorry there is more

People on buses with steroes very loud

People who shout when speaking on their mobile, some speak that loud that there is probably no need for the phone

People like me that go on & on & on

What happens if they either cause or are involved in an accident, they are breaking the law. I'm sorry but bottom line is they are not road Vehicles and therefor should not be on the road
Without knowing the specifics of the particular vehicle you mention,I can only say that even if a mobility scooter has a number plate it doesn't have to be displayed.
A class 3 scooter, which my wife has, must be taxed (free)and have lights & indicators. For pavement use it is restricted to 4mph,on road it's 8mph.She is fully insured & just as entitled to use the road as anyone else.
To overtake a parked vehicle, you only need to check that it's safe regarding oncoming traffic. If anyone tries to overtake an already overtaking vehicle,(scooter, cycle, tractor, whatever) they are the ones causing the danger.

point taken on most of your post blue... but on the last part, some just pull out (swerve) in front of you without checking... mind you some cars that were parked do the same maybe they should make it law that they have wing mirrors as well, as some of the older users have restricted hearing as well and fail to hear cars behind them. like all drivers, what ever they use, it comes down to being aware of what is happening around them.

btw I was talking about the small 3 wheeled, almost cart type wheelchairs not the bigger 4 wheeled type, which I take it is the type your wife has

Flamin dropped kerbs that are an inch above road level

Ok if ur pushing a baby buggy, but not if ur pushing a "fully laden" adult wheelchair.

I think the Clerk of Works must have been on long term sick leave around here

Either that, or Bodgit and Scarper were the main contractors
