Looks like a bit of fun, although I have my doubts on the legalities of using the Queen's portrait and what looks like a scan of a real bank note (is it?)

Do some advertising off-eBid to get more interest in your items! You can add your listing to your page at MySpace, Facebook, etc. which will all help to get search engine hits and the like.

    Smile nineshillingnote

hi, appreciate advise and will be working on it, using the note as a logo came after discovering them for sale as i was using nine-bob-note as my ebay id as a play on words using my name.

had my name all over it as they say, just had to have them !

    Exclamation nine shilling note

hi all, it's the newbie nineshillingnote here again.
have just been tweeking up my site. i have realised that things are a liitle slower over here and it appears to be a safer bet for people to put high buy it now prices on their items.
i just edited many of mine to the more fun / riskier auction style and hence reduce most of the prices so please take a little look around.
i will still give away a fun 9 bob note with items that go for over £30

I WOULD STILL APPRECIATE YOUR COMMENTS.

I wouldn't rely too much on putting high buy-it-now prices, that was one of the detractions of fleaBay for me - so many high fixed price "auctions" and very few chances to bid for a real bargain. Set your start price at the minimum you're prepared to sell for, don't get greedy like a number of sellers on aforementioned site.
