I sell vintage toys and I'm considering listing here, but I just browsed the vintage toys category and it was filled with stuff that was either not vintage or not toys. Or neither. It doesn't really fill me with optimism that sellers would slog thru dozens of listings for flea powder, shampoo, and knock-off handbags to find a few listings of true vintage toys. I've checked several times. And each day there are dozens of miscatergorized items.

It's frustrating. I think I'll wait until I see less of this on the site to bother to list.

many are using links to an off site shop or even to feebay.this also is not allowed and needs to be reported.

atomic candy - I've just checked - all the flea powder is under pets. There are no miscategorised handbags - some are knock-offs but report them and they are removed (I do a few each day), which is more than you can say for the other place. If you want a clean category to list your stuff, report the bad 'uns in there. It will clean up nicely and quickly here, I have found.

Nope, sorry. Just looked at the Toys -> Vintage category. 17 listings for pet products, out of 86 listings. Of the 70 listings that are non-pet related, at least 1/2 of them are for new products. I reported the pet listings the other day. Now they're back. I have better things to do than spend all day cleaning up the clutter on a site that I doubt will lead to a sale. If the site will not enforce their own policies and cannot afford to hire more people in an effort to make it look professional, it's not for me.

It's too bad, I'm looking for an alternative, but this one clearly isnt it.

Looks like its a problem on the US site, none of those pet products cluttering up the UK categories.

Unless UK users make a point of checking non uk homesite listings, we don't see them to report them, that should be down to the members from that country

There is a slight problem of duplication here, sort of. I sell plenty of vintage toys but I use Collectables/Toys & Games.
