'phone numbers

I think that the majority of us are aware that email addresses are not allowed in listings to deter offsite dealings.
I have been browsing the cars & vehicles section & numerous auctions have telephone numbers included.Surely this is no different to email addresses.
Emails are automatically stripped out with eBid software,if this is not workable for 'phone numbers should they then be reported?

think it's a case of suck it and see.... report one for off site selling and see what happens.... personally I think they should but then I'm not listing the item

trouble is when your selling car it`s easier to explain details over the phone than keep answering questions in auctions as you can give a good run down of any details needed over phone

I have to agree with Merlin , you can say more with a couple of words on the phone ... than a whole paragraph in print....because people READ things differently....I am sure you know what I mean by this ??? if not please phone me....oooops...forgot...not in book ...
