Thread: Linking to Google

  1. #1

    Default Linking to Google

    Just a suggestion
eBid would receive a lot more traffc and members if they link their searched items to google. a lot of people do search google first before trying competitors site.
how many times you search google and the first thing that comes up there is the items on the eB*y
So eBid would greatly benefit if they did the same.

Indeed, Google indexes eBid listings rather well, especially if shoppers are clever enough to use the 'Shopping' / 'Products' Google Search: http://www.google.co.uk/prdhp?hl=en&tab=wf

I just typed my one touch ultra mini auction "wholesale lot one touch ultra mini glucose monitors" and voila, it showed up in google (first on the list too) LOL

Looks like it's working, surely but slowly. The more I start listing the more visibility we'll all get.

you don't need to link to google yourself - you must list your items with a BIN price and have at least 7 days to run when the googleupload takes place (automatic.. can't remember the dates though). Personally I run almost all mine for 14 days-ish so that an appreciable number of them have 7 days to run on any date.

Just an additional note for you samigail0305

You can either have an auction with buynow or just a buynow on it's own. The best option is to have it is on 8 day with autore-post set to 10 and spread your end times/days apart, you will get more up in the listings. I am trying to spread mine out to have at least 1 per 30mins (but I need 336 auctions to acheive this goal)
