Why do people consider going to list on feeby, on these special offers that they do?

I would never pay to list on ebay ever again.

The place usually gets swamped and you get hit again when you relist, wast of money. CLD's were never worthwhile ages ago and certainly not now.

What makes me laugh about the peeps on the darkside, greedbay offers cheap & free listing every other month. As & when it suits them. You can list but not sell but still get charged for listing.

When are the peeps over there going to realise that at the end of the day they are being ripped off. Here you can list your items for as long as you like & NOT be charged a penny. And the FVF is absolutely NOTHING compared to over there.

If they think they're getting a bargain by selling over there, then greedbay has definately brainwashed them & placed more than sheep over their eyes.

Greedbay aren't interested in sellers & customers. They want CASH CASH CASH so long as their pockets are filled & their shareholders are kept happy, then who cares if a few sellers or peeps complain.

Ah thats the art of sheep farming aint it.

They seem to have loads of 5p listing days, yet never any free FVF days, good timing as well on the strike day. Don't waste your money listing there un;ess your confient your items won't sell - your only saving 5p

Those are their normal exclusions for clds - no different this time.

    Hi All,

What worries me most of all about this 5p promotion is the final paragraph...

    General terms

eBay reserves the right to suspend, change or cancel the promotion at any time, in the event of circumstances arising which, in eBay's opinion, make it necessary for it to do so. eBay reserve the right to add additional terms and conditions for certain parts of this promotion.
The decision of eBay regarding anyaspect of the promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Does that mean that eBay can change the 'Goal Posts' at any time they choose, even if you are in the middle of listing your items ? can they delete all your listings if they decide to do so, just because they CAN ? can they stop the promotion when the majority of listers have finished listing therefore causing their fees to go back to the normal prices ?

It's just a few thoughts wandering around aimlessly in my head, but judging by those General Terms, anything is possible...

You are correct - it was very predictable. They have clds on similar dates each year - they had a half price listing day on 30th april last year too.
