Hi all, I have had so much fun reading these messages, thank you.

My idea to help combat some of the fraudulent activity, would be to award buddy points to members that report such listings, along with the floggings, stocks etc for the perpetrators of fraud. All the best, Ann.

Most of the dodgy listing reporters use a second id, like I do with this one, so having buddy points would not be beneficial, unless they could somehow be diverted to the real id.
However I do it because I don't like to see people ripped off and hate those pirate dvd sellers who ripoff people with 'filmed in the cinema' copies. If only the real suppliers of dvds sold them at a reasonable price and released them at a sensible time after the film is released in America, then we wouldn't have as many ripoff merchants selling stuff (which may or may not fund terrorism).

The reason we use a 2nd id is to stop our own auctions being attacked by the scammers who bid on them and don't pay.

DOES ANYONE know if a seller has been suspended if there is a line through their name i purchased an item from natlaureano and there a line through her name.. check was cashed no item recieved yet. ANYONE know the best way to deal with this left feedback already. thanks Ellie

This I do know, if a eBid buyer or Seller has a line through their name then their account is either on hold or totally suspended.

I presume you are on about the same item as in the other thread?
