Murphy's Law for Online Sellers!!
If you have plenty, no one wants one.
If you just sold out and can't get any more, everyone wants one.
You'll never run out of tape when you have nothing to pack.
If it needs to stay dry, there will be a monsoon the day it is delivered to the customers porch.
If it needs to arrive quickly it will inexplicably be re-routed to the other side of the country and then back again.
Here's the one that I hate. Find an interesting looking obscure item, research it for months, finding really NO information about it. Finally get tired of looking at it, list it, sell it for
$9.99. Pack it, ship it, forget about it. Next month, open up the latest issue of Kovel's Collectibles and find it pictured as RARE ITEM, PAID $9.99 online!
If it isn't expensive, it won't get lost or broken.
It it isn't time-sensitive, it won't go astray.
If you saw them selling for a hundred bucks last week, they'll go for a dollar twenty-eight when you list yours this week.
If you buy tracking, they'll never ask.
You finally sell something that's been in your store for years.. But you spent the next 8 hours trying to locate it.
You've been procrastinating taking pictures all day. You finally get all of your ducks in a row and get the lighting just right, get all of the items cleaned that you're going to photograph. You get the photo tent set up with the right color of paper. You start taking pics and your camera dings at you that the batteries are dying. You run up to get the other batteries out of the charger...only to discover that you never
remembered to plug in the charger.

I must admit I've had a few of the above happen to me!
Happy Selling Everyone!!
