Thread: Link eBay feedback into your auctions is easy

  1. #1

    Default Link eBay feedback into your auctions is easy

    you can put your eBay feedback link into your auctions.

    An easy way is to use this site: http://auctionfb.com/

    Super simple....Just register on their site (it's FREE) and copy the link into all your eBid auctions. We sell on a few other sites and use it for all our auctions. We're hoping some grow big enough to give eBay a little competition.

    Good luck!

    I asked the exact same question yesterday papagran on a thread which appears to have been deleted.

    Joined the auctionfb all right but unsure as to how to get it to show in the about me page.

    cheers in advance

    All you have to do is highlight the html, do a copy (Ctrl = c) and then paste into your auction description (Ctrl = v). This is the html I got when I signed on. It is the link to my feedback. When you use it in your auction description it will change to the yellow square feedback icon.

    <a href="http://auctionfb.com/click.php?user=1323" target="_blank">
    <img src="http://auctionfb.com/feedback.php?user=1323" border="0">
    </a>

    It should work perfectly.....Jan

    Quick clarifying question. I see many have included the Auctionfb graphic in their listings and about me pages. However, many have the links "active", which when clicked, lands you on their ebay feedback page. Is this truly against policy? The relevant line from the faq's is: "Listings with links to another website and/or where you are offering the same item for sale". If I am not double-dipping on listings (currently offering nothing over there), am I indeed able to redirect by way of auctionfb w/out breaking the rules? OR, is any external link forbidden? the and/or seems to preclude any linking, period. But as I say, a lot of people are doing it. I try to follow the rules and do not want to see all of my auctions deleted for guessing wrong.

    Do you have to give your feebay user ID and password to get this link? If so I will not be doing it as I do not give any passwords to anyone.

    No. So it is not truly "verified" as "you", which makes it's impact/value somewhat suspect. W/out the active linking, it's value is reduced further imho.
