What idiot decided to have Easter so early, my wife finishes at the school today then goes back tuesday for 10 days and then the Easter holidays start.
Rant over im allowed one a week.

You are entitled to have a rant. My daughter has already had her rant at me over this as it is going to cause problems with childcare.

Don't think it's anything to do with Jesus ( well he didn't set the dates...lol)...its the christians imposing their festivals over other religious festivals...we all know none of them happened on the dates we celebrate them.

Easter = First Sunday after the first full moon on or after March 21 (Spring Equinox)
I saw it on Countryfile this morning.

It's all to do with the moon phase

you see...nothing to do with Jesus or the christians...all to do with nature.

Sort of… I won’t go into the full details here as it’s not the place, but the Christians “stole” it from the Pagan celebration of Ostara, and made it their own celebration, as they have done with most of the other so called Christian festivals.

No, seriously I think it was SWOPMEBOB who posted that this year's Easter was the earliest ever (?) or at least in our lifetimes, and the next time it happens this early will be in a 100 years or so--based on the full moon cycle like WIZBOOKS mentioned.

Either way, SPRING is here...and my flowers are beginning to bloom!
