Default Waiting for the phone call

I'm waiting for the phone call to go pick my mum up, I was unable to go and visit her last night in the hospital, my brother and sister went to see her, she was having a sandwich and a cup of tea, feeling fine, last time she had her other foot done she had metal pins sticking out from her toes, they were in for around a fortnight, this time they have to be in for up to 6 weeks!!! My mum is very independent and likes to do things herself, so i don't know how she is going to cope like this for so long - yes myself my brother and sister and all the grandchildren will help her out all we can, we all live very close so there should be no problems.

Will keep you updated - karen

Give my best to your mum, tell her, she gotta take it easy for the next few weeks,

thing is, bet she dont listen if she is very independent, but you will all be there for her thats the main thing
Life is serious but taking it too seriously robs you of
    happiness, fun and productivity

Default Don't look if your squeamish.........

Thank you guys for all your well wishes

Mum's good, I picked her up at 4pm took her home and got her settled in the house, she said that its a lot more painful this time, I hope it settles down very soon I hate to see my mum in pain, she is such a strong person

Anyway as you saw in the title of this thread
    >>"DON'T LOOK IF YOUR SQUEAMISH"<<

i do have a couple of photos it doesn't look that bad this time, she only has one pin this time - but look how far it sticks out
