    Hi,

I must be mistaken then, I thought when you wanted to view or participate in the forums you had to be a member of eBid? Don't you have to sign in with your user ID? which then means you are not just a member of the forum but an eBid member, have I got it right yet? :-)

no, you have it the wrong way round. You don't have to be a forum member just because you have joined ebid to buy and/or sell.

Um, have any of you had the prescence of mind to coax your customers over to ebid. It's all well and good getting ****ed off with ebay as a seller but until the buyers become suitably brassed then how are you going sell anything??

Ooh, Roop. I think you may get pelted with loo rolls for that one!

Yep, there are loads of threads about ways to get both old and new buyers over here.
From a personal perspective, I am really hoping that more artwork (0f the older variety) gets listed by other sellers. Most of my customers do come to buy and they like to have a lot to look at - and at the moment, there isn't.
I keep messing about emailing a few folk, but if I do a mass emailing I want them to come and to stay, not to come and get bored.

They say that timing is everything

Yes - it was the first thing I did and good job I did too! My best buyer came with me and has bought like crazy on here, not just from me but from other eBid sellers too.
