Thanks for an alternative auction site!

Thanks for posting the original question, I'm not the only person grateful for an alternative site. Especially with the new rules changes and fee structure coming in on That Site.

Sellers will no longer be able to give bad feedback for customers!

Sellers ARE their customers, they don't seem to realise it and lots of disgruntled ones are leaving. (Hopefully to come here!)

Oh and if it's any consolation, lot's of us made the same mistake when we came to ebid. We have asked for ebid admin to make the listings automatically default to 'free' but there was some technical reason this doesn't always work !

Despite some inevitable niggles i'm sure you'll soon get the hang of ebid, and hopefully ebid support will refund the feautured fees

I am yet another Ebay refugee. I hope Ebid will grow but one warning and hopefully one that I know others will adhere to, to avoid the corporate greed we've been so far affected by.

If Ebid ever sells out to Ebay, Amazon or Google or any other massive corporate I for one will be out of here faster than you can say 'bid'.

Let's hope it doesn't happen but I won't hold my breath as we know that Ebay buys anything that is successful.

I for one will help other auction sites as well as this one. Competition is good for buyers and good for sellers.

Am I missing something..... gallery costs 2% FVF first off you have to sell the item second it's still a h**l of a lot cheaper then that other site I was on

HEY! I have done the same thing...started on here yesterday...I agree with you about Ebay...the increases are criminal its sheer greed !!! They have taken advantage of their position as one of the biggest auction sites and we should support smaller sites like this one.
