why sell an item to a customer on here for less profit than you can make out of the same customer by selling it to him on ebay ??

most have moved here from ebay and want nothing to do with that site hence why we would sooner promote ebid if you like ebay so much why are you complaining of no sales we have spent years promoting ebid you are promoting ebay WELL NO THANKS

You only had a handful of items listed yesterday, I don't know when you uploaded the others - but it's going to take a while for your items to show up on google, and unless you take on board some of the marketing tips you've been offered - how will your customers know where to find you? ( especially in less than 24 hours)

Rather than keep trying to use your ebay business plan on ebid, I recommend you take some time to see how ebid works and how it can bring you the additional sales you're wanting. if you can earn customers here you'll find they are much more likely to buy more than one item at the same time, and much more likely to come back as a repeat customer. remember patience is a virtue

i am not promoting ebay.
what i am saying is i cant understand is peoples lack of understanding of profit and why they cant get to grips with what i say about wanting extra customers and not just moving them from one site to another to make less money i have nothing listed on ebay at the moment that is why i have got 110 items on here to try and get additional customers the customers i have got from ebay in the past i now deal with direct through one of my websites.

it was just an obeservation that i had the cheapest cartridges on here and had got some views but no sales.

Sell item for £10.00 on greedbay......less your listing fees..less your fvfs.
Sell item for £10.00 on Ebid.......no listing fees, none or lower fvfs.

Even I can see where the highest profit margin in that is.

Unfortunately, greedbay is still my main outlet, but I am advising my customers that I am listing here now too (as well as on 10 other sites - and ALL have had sales in the past few days, including here).

I guess this is getting pointless if you cant see what people are trying to say.

I cant understand it i have the same items with the same listing descriptions on here but at a lower price than on fleabay where the cartridges do sell, i get people on here looking but no buyers.

this is the 5th time i have tried ebid with no sales.

your sums are right

but if you have an item that costs the same as your example and you sell it on here for £6 there is no sense in swapping you customer to take £4.00 less off them on here and save the fees they are not £4.00 more than on here.

if i was selling on here at the same price i understand where you are coming from but as i said before i am selling at a lot lower price to try and stimulate the market and generate a lot more business.
