No it isn't limited to Cornwall as I have just found an ad for a car in Kings Lynn, Norfolk.

It is used by people in Cornwall mostly, but its goodif you want to try and sell to people down here. I haven't had a sale yet - but as it is free - It isn't a problem and it comes up on google.

Just clicked on an advert at the top of the page for The Directory - www.doweb.co.uk. It has a banner for eBid on its home page and it says you can list your web address on to its online directory for free.

I tried to list my store, but it won't accept it as it says it isn't a valid URL! ??

Have sent them an email asking why - will post reply here.

I've been having a good rummage through this site, it's totally free to use (paid for by google adverts)! There are even smaller, more obscure "providers of auction platforms" listed. Feebay aren't listed (not a UK company?) but neither is EBID!
Am I missing something totally obvious here???
This site is claiming 400k searches per month.....!!

Can others take a look, & comment wether or not u think EBID should / could be on Freeindex?

i just raised a few threads to help ebid members advertise their stores. i thought i was doing a good deed by trying to let people know they are welcome to advertise.

One post is informative, and this was probably the best place to post. A lot of similar posts on different boards comes across a bit OTT

We had to decline an eBid link at http://www.NetStoreSearch earlier today as the URL provided didn't lead to a store but an account admin page.

All eBidders are very welcome to have a free directory listing but please ensure the information submitted is accurate when screened or else I'm afraid a decline is inevitable.
