It is not just potshop who is pushing ebid.
I have seen several other threads as well with a different id, though can't remember which threads they were; I do know who it is here though and well done!
I for one have defected to ebid and am actively listing here. Am trying to make up my mind when to close my ebay shop, whether to do it on the 15th to avoid a further shop subscription payment or to leave it till the end of the month when it will have emptied itself out.
Have started to put flyers in all mypackages to let my customers know where to find me.

i've just sold my last items on there last week, EVER! Concentrating full time on Ebid now & hope plenty more people will too.

I just did an advanced search on Ebay Q&A for ebid in the last week. Got 117 results. Looks like the pinks are too busy to try and pacify everyone to be bothering with pulling threads. I remember the one time I ever mentioned it (last year with the introduction of drs) it was pulled within 10 minutes.

I got a smack a few weeks ago!lol

within seconds after typing the word ebid, it had been removed and received an email.............ooops

but as theres loads of mentions now, am sticking my oar in a little bit.......hope i don't get told off again.

Hi mainlypostcards. A lot of people maintain some sort of presence on feebay just for advertising purposes. It depends on your sales, and whether you sell for a living, but you do need to think hard about giving up completely. You might find it better to sell some stuff there but keep the main bulk here. A lot of people do it that way. It's much more sustainable.
