ebid shows ebay?

Hello there , I wonder if Mark or Gazza can tell me why there is a google advert on here that is about ebay....ebay will never show an ad for ebid..
or am I wrong ?...papa.

A smaller site needs all the revenue it can get and if Google want to pay for my free listing im all for it.

I think the google ads pick up the text on the page and put up adverts relating to that. We had a thread once talking about England flags etc and all the adverts were sites selling flags.

What i find annoying is that Google carry adds for Ebay yet Ebay wont allow Google checkout as a payment option.

IF feebay did advertise on smaller auction sites, to an extent it's largely wasted money compared to advertising elsewhere, so take it out of their pockets. Reason being is that the user is consciously choosing the smaller competitor and is all to aware of eBay.

just searched google for eBid and a sponsored link showed 'eBid on ebay' - clicked on the link and it was ebay with 'ebid' in the search, but at the bottom of the page were sponsored links and one was:
