Now that first bit's really interesting because registered charities are not allowed to "permanently trade".....it's in the instructions from the CC re: adopting a constitution.
That's why all they all have "trading arms".....which donate all their profit to the main charity.
Admittedly it all gets a bit woolly....but the accounts are kept well apart.
But anyways, that's just typical bully boy tactics from feebay...don't you think? To be honest, i'm not impressed with what I see over there.....too many individuals "donating 10%" to the "charity" (yeah...& i'm the Queen of Sheeba)
I know what you mean about smaller charitable causes though, fundraising is damned hard work.
