Wrap with great difficulty.

We looked after a Beagle for some friends while he was in transit to a new home. Four adults trying to get him in a haltie - no way was he playing that game; never new a dog had so many legs.

aw Brian arent you the sweetheart.
I used to adopt greyhounds but havent had 1 now for 2yrs. My last little man Seanie, was around when the little one was born, he used to sleep under her cot and when she cried he would come running down the stairs, bark at us then go back to sleep under the cot, unfortunatly i took him out on the town moor 1 day, he was going mad and fell down a rabbit hole and broke his leg, the vet could have saved him but he was the kind of dog that had to be sedated b4 you could take him into the vets, it wasnt worth upsetting him every week for checkups.(crying)
Sorry. anyway ive been trying to get my hubby intrested in fostering more but hes not keen on the idea, says i will get too atached, me--never.

thats the problem you do get attached to them

we have been thinking about it since May and I finally decided xmas was a good time as everyone is home a lot and he will get used to us a lot quicker.

I must admit he could eat for England and he virtually eats anything

Hi,
Grey hounds are brilliant dogs.Well done you.Sadly so many are put down when their racing days are over.They are truly beautiful dogs.Our vet adopts retired greyhounds.
We have an old retreiver cross,who is now very old.Alas sometimes he forgets.Mind of a puppy,body of an old dog he jumps up at something then is aching for days afterwards.Bless him.

he does

they have never had any house training but they learn very quickly not to make a mess in the house. He only ever peed once and we quickly learned that after he has his breakfast or dinner he needs to pee straight after it lol.
