train fares are ridiculous - higher than plane fares alot of the time

What about going all the way. There must be some car parks near the dome (they used to be some when it was 1st open.) But I suppose it depend which way you are coming from too...

Millenium dome is that near greenwich. If so park the car at the Isle of Dogs and go through the tunnel which takes you directly to the Millenium dome. I used to live in the Isle of Dogs about 25 years ago. I know its all business workers that live there now & has gone through changes. Your best bet would be to contact the millenium and ask them for nearest car park.
Is this any help

Best thing to do is to park on the outskirts of the city and use the tubes! Use the journey planner on this site http://www.tfl.gov.uk/
Set the times etc and viola!
Never ever try to park in London!
PS You could give us a clue as to which way you arrive from?

I second this post. The isle of dogs is just one big yellow lined concrete jungle same as everywhere else in london now - apart from that you have got congestion charge too for being in the centre.
If you find out the tube station nearest you as you drive to london and park in the outskirts in some well lit area and get a tube in.
Good luck![]()
