Suggestion: Bulk delete or close capability

This has probably been mentioned many times before, but I didn't see it:

How about the ability to delete many items at once? If I have items that sell on other sites I would like to be able to remove many at once. The only way I know of now is to open each item and close or delete the item. This is several steps and a considerable time delay.

I would like to be able to do a search - say all by one author in my store - and be able to mark multiples for closing or deletion. This capability is in Amazon.com and in half.com.

You can already close and delete without opening them. Go into your 'my ebid' area then select 'auctions i am running' and you'll see the close delete tick boxes. What would be useful is this functionality on individual stores.

But I have 3000 items and no way to filter what shows on 'auctions i am running'. I would like to see some way to narrow the listings on this feature then.

I agree a bit more functinality would be helpful. meanwhile what i do is 'sort' the auctions i'm running into alphabetical order. That helps me spot duplicate listings, and (by selecting roughly which 'page' an alpha listed auction might be on) helps me delete specific listing quicker.
