Say your PC was taken away from you and you had absolutely
no access to the internet for say a month.
What would you do with that time which you normally spend
on here ?

but think i'd sit there yearning for the pc back most of the time.
what else is there, work 2 jobs during day, okay it easy in main job to have kt tabbed and pop in every now and then, get home do dinner and housework then sit down, nowt on telly, dont wanna go out, (been out all day)
so its nice to come on net for a chatter, not only that my family live in Aus and am always on msn to them keeps me in touch on a daily basis with whats happening down under
so dunno what i do with out pc

I know its only a throwaway hypothetical question but
I thought of hours I waste either on the internet or simply
sitting watching TV , but then I thought , is that time really
being wasted , if I get some enjoyment out of it ,it cant be
a complete waste.Maybe I`m looking for something to
embellish my life , maybe I`m getting over the hill ,maybe
I`m waffling now and being a bore.![]()

A few weeks ago I thought , shall I surf the net or shall I paint the garage?
I bit the bullet ,threw on my boiler suit ,got the paint etc and just
immersed myself in it . Few hours later I stepped back and thought ,
a job well done.I must admit because I could actually see an end product
I felt I`d done something worthwhile as opposed to sitting chatting on MSN or watching TV.That said , I`m here waffling so the oddjobs lost
the toss tonight![]()
