I have for sale on the dark side! (boo hiss) A Solid silver Pocket watch in Excellent condition dating from 1880 for £30...And a Smiths Boringly ordinary but in a box with original guarantee Pocekt watch Made of Steel...Guess what The smiths (about 1960's)is selling better then the Silver?

So a 127 year old watch made from SILVER is not worth as much as a 1960's Smiths Steel pocket watch..

I can believe it...especially when auction feaver hits the bidders, I've seen second hand stuff sell for more than it would have cost brand new when a bidding war has started.
