Suspicious mind?

I have a buyer who bought 3 very cheap items from me a couple of weeks ago, and has bought similar ( less than £1.00) items from a few other sellers - accruing a positive feedback rating of 15.

The buyer quickly left me pos feedback for my items, and has done the same for the other sellers.

However, today I received a return parcel from the PO - the buyers auction wins parcel, with a message stating the buyer is no longer at uni.

Why would a buyer leave positive feedback for items they haven't received? Why would they use an address on EBID where they no longer live?.

What value is there to spending around £20 on keyrings and stickers and other low value stuff - just to gain 15 positive feedback ratings?

.. actually i can think of a reason.. and i'm a bit concerned. Am i being paranoid? or does anyone else feel a bit suspicious too?

I agree, sound fishy to me. I wonder if the others got their packages returned?

Hmmm might be worth keeping an eye open just to see if he lists anything that looks suspicious.

I agree too it does sound sus......even though I once left feedback before receiving the goods!! It was my first buy on ebay, the message came for me to leave feedback so I did!! (not realising) anyway the parcel did not arrive I did try to fight my ground but they knew a lot more than me and I left it at that. I didnt know what to do??

Things don't look to good about this.

It appears on the ones that I looked at the feedback they left could have even been left before the items had been shipped.

Occasionally someone will not realize they need to wait for the package to arrive but I don't feel like this is the case here.

Don't people have forwarding address if they have just recently moved??

They have not added any info on their about me page.

AND WHAT I FEEL IS A REALLY BIG CLUE IS FEEDBACK ON THE SAME UNITED KINGDOM ID ON FEEBAY WITH 14 NEGS IN THE LAST 6 MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Feedback examples:
I was conned aswell... sent money but nothing was received, stick to paypal!!!!

do not buy anyting from this person you wll never get it

Big con. Money taken with no item received.Even ebay can not get it back

I think you did great editing your feedback and alerting others --- but probably the next step should be contacting support.

It appears that they had about 30 positive feedback as a buyer on feebay before they started the con jobs as a seller.

I agree, support should be alerted, this person is up to something and I'll bet it is to no good.

Thanks Peggy, I hadn't checked the ebay username. I'll go look it up and send an email to support straight away! I think between us we may have stopped someones plans
