External feedback linking help needed

H all.
I'm a newly joined member and am currently filling out my "About me". I want to add my ebay feedback score via anothing site using an image to show it. The HTML I have seems fine but for some reason doesn't work. It shows the HTML coding instead of the image.
On trolling other members pages I have come across the same problem but, also seen it working properly. On those I have viewed their source code and can find nothing really different from what I have.
Any help appreciated, the coding I want to use is below.

Hi Tony,
I take it you've set your default to the PLAIN HTML view.
The coding you posted works ok when pasted into notepad & saved as an html file.
I know the UK Auction Help has had some problems with their images & coding recently.

As for a source image for your join eBid link
Gazza has posted a high res version of the eBid logo if that's any help.

In a roundabout way you solved the problem.
Although I initially made it up in Notepad, I C+P while in the advanced WYSIWYG mode, which then added a load of crud around it. By going into simple mode I could see and delete the added mark-up and hey pesto.
For the Ebid link I've used the Ebid logo at http://uk.five.ebid.net/images/logo1_uk.gif.
