"Sentimental" jewelry - mourning jewelry is very similar. It is often composed of or decorated with symbols and devices whose meaning was very clear to our ancestors, even if not aways clear to us.
no markings on it at all. i'm not even sure it's jewellery as there's a green felt like backing? I'll go look upsentimental jewellery just in case
With a felt back it sounds more like ornamental for want of a better word. lol they were usually framed, even though they had a hanging ring ?
