    As a buyer i leave feedback as soon as goods arrive .
    As a seller i leave feedback as soon as the buyer has received goods and left feedback.
    Its a shame some dont leave it as its very important to new ebidders .
    I dont understand a seller not leaving any after receiving it dont they want repeat customers.

    As a buyer I leave feedback as soon as items arrive.

    As a seller I leave feedback as soon as the buyer has paid, and expect them to leave feedback as items are received, so that I know they've arrived OK. If I get no immediate feedback I chase it, because I want to know that the buyer is happy with my service. If they are not happy, I make sure that the problem is quickly sorted out.

    In a service sector like this repeat customers should be encouraged! I don't understand why sellers wait so long to leave feedback, when it's a sign of satisfaction that they've been paid!!

    This I don't understand, why do some sellers only leave feedback once they have received it? I know some buyers can be awkward and leave silly feedback remarks, but the only reason why I can think sellers do this is to prevent neg feedback being given for no reason.

    Personally I don't think retaliatory neg's are the way to go. Feedback is a personal view of the person giving it. As a seller I leave feedback when the person has paid, after all the buyer has completed their part by paying, so why should they have to wait until I have received the feedback from them? If they leave a bad remark for no good reason, then I would simply place a comment on the FB, and report to ebid (unlike feebay, these things actually get sorted out)

    On feebay I have not received my FB even though I paid instantly, and I'm sorry but I'm not giving them FB until I get mine (they would get + btw), because why should I submit mine first?

    This subject has come up many times before & i wholeheartedly agree with you (as most people know by now).
    Some people give stupid reasons, such as distance selling rules feedback should be left for a buyer based on how the payment went, not if they're happy with the goods received. I just wish more people could understand this.

    I may be barking up the wrong tree here (or barking mad? LOL). But I think that it stems from feebay, the reason I think this is because on feebay the pc bots don't actually CARE if feedback is retaliatory or given wrongly and they don't change it if it is anyway, whereas, here on ebid, they don't tolerate it!

    my question still has'nt been answerd,! i leave FB for my buyers and sellers, wot i don't understand is why is the request there for FB ! if you request it ! on Feebay wot you said is wot you said on here you can change or delete it ! so why have FB !

    it is a very important part of (EBID) i think you will agree........
    then why don't sellers leave it!!...
    The FB feature is there to give people a rough idea of what that person is like to deal with when they buy or sell

    As for "then why don't sellers leave it", I'm afraid I can't answer, as I always leave FB so I don't know why they don't.

    I know .but unlike feebay anyone can change wot they say ! which is odd don't you think! we need a solid and true feedback system for buyers and sellers ! it will make EBID a safer place to BUY & SELL !
