Can anyone remember the early days of feebay?

Come now, abusing powersellers as if they are all sellers of fake items is thoroughly unfair. I used to be one (till ebay moved the search goal posts).

Now if you want someone to abuse, dropshippers or location abusers or Chinese sellers who flood the categories with their items (even the wrong categories - "antique book cases" is full of brand new Chinese items) are better targets.

i can go to ebay now pick out a catagory and give you at least 10 power sellers selling fake crap or using dropshippers

But I can show you ones who are not - they are just honest sellers who manage to make the number of transactions or sales total ebay set. They may make no profit...

And if people keep buying the fake crap...

The reason I started this thread was to try and gauge some ideas on How EBID should be promoting itself.

I do actually remember the promotions they ran....I 'won' a LAZ-Y-BOY recliner...same as Joey in friends...the Cool chair I think it is called. Here it is ...sat at the back of me....too flippin big to put anywhere else! It was worth £1100.00 tho...never even been plugged in!....Oh, and I won 3 mugs which I still have....
