Our online advertising spend grows week after week as it has been doing for over a year now and is now double what it was a year ago. The main outcome of this is number of sales tripling in this period which was our main aim.

eBid is now working with a PR agency in London to embark on our first professional public relations campaign, this a big step for us and has been made possible due to the fact we now have a very stong infrastructure in place after slowly investing in new servers over the past few years and this money can now be channeled to promotional areas. There was no point spending money getting a huge number people to visit us if we were unable to give them a fast and satisfying service.

We realise that in an ideal world we would have paid-for advertising of eBid on tv, radio, magazines and newpapers running 24/7. The costs of ths would be astronomical and would place us at risk of bankruptcy within a few weeks. Our strategy is based upon what we can afford and the more revenues we make the more we are able to spend, our growth can be likened to a snowball picking up speed the larger it gets, after a few years of slow growth we are now growing at ever increasing speeds, with our online advertising budget growing weekly, our PR campaign in progress to get the whole of the UK aware of our presence and a strong and speedy infrastructure now in place we are doing our best. If anyone has around £2 million spare we would be interested in speaking about some investment, until this happens we can only spend what we have.

at last thank you this really needs updating as much as possible so that newbies can see that their cash is not just leaking through the system but some does go into the honey pot ready for a ad campaign

Thanks Gazza, that sounds great. That's all some of us want really - just some words and updates every now and again to let us know that we're not selling and promoting eBid in a vacuum.
