major pc probs help needed
keep getting error on loading pages and comp running slow

Have you recently installed/applied any updates on your PC? Have you downloaded a new web browser recently - IE7 or Firefox 2.0.0.3?
In Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced -> Browsing section, there should be a 'Use Passive FTP (for firewall and DSN modem compatibility)' option. If that's not ticked you could try switching that on to see if it helps any.
Restart usually works.....(Leave of for 30 seconds before restarting)

A quick Google of the 12029 error reveals most link to a pooched IE7 installation. Lots of things to try, but the easiest one (if you're using XP and have System Restore enabled) would be to roll-back to 24 hours before you started having the problem.
Access XP System Restore by clicking Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore.
Choose "Restore my computer to an Earlier Time"
Select a date about 24 hours prior to when you started having the issue and follow the onscreen prompts.
for some reason it`s like my connection is lost but i can still be on other sites and no lost connection am wondering if one of kids has messed in network settings ??????? lookslike a new install of modem and network to keep me busy tomorrow
right my probs are down to my network it seems guess what i uninstalled network and comp is flying , but i can`t find disk now to get network back online , kids are sulking hahaha tough will have to wait until i got time to sort it out pmsl
