    Comicsemp,
I am a refugee from Yahoo Auctions and have only recently signed up for Ebid.
On Monday afternoon I did a bulk upload and received no response. It has been 3 days, so don’t feel bad.

    Gothicina,
I can save the “auction section” of the spreadsheet as a .txt file ("tab delimited" option), without a problem. But what exactly does it mean “upload this file to their My eBid”. I can find no place to upload. Does this refer to the email listed under my BulkUpload (spreads@ebid.net)?

I'm not getting any confirmation that saying my load was accepted or declined and I know its not going into the spam folder.

You're not alone. I've sent the same 2 files twice now, 2 days apart. I contacted help and they suggested that I check the junk mail folder and check the listing counts to make sure the files didn't get uploaded without my knowledge. Well, Duh! No new listings!!

I can't see preparing the next 2000 listings I have, if I can't count on getting them uploaded without this hassle.

It means to e-mail the file to Ebid at their e-mail address spreads@ebid.net

Same here... I did get a successful upload last week, though.

I think this is a future enhancement and not ready for use yet.

    Hi Teelabooks,
    Welcome to eBid,
sorry for the confusion, Gazza posted on 1st of May that they were working on this change to the bulk uploader, but he hasn't said when it will be ready. When it is it should make things much easier.

From the number of people posting about this, something definitely seems to be wrong with the bulk uploading process at the moment. All I can suggest you do is open a support ticket in case the guys aren't aware of this, neither of them have been very visible on the forums the last few days so they could be bogged down with something. (importing Yahoo feedback maybe )
You can either contact support by email support@ebid.tv or by opening a ticket via the contact us page http://uk.ebid.net/contact.php

I hope they sort it for you soon.

Well the responses I'm getting from you guys is really nice. I appriciate it. At least I know I'm not the only one having the problem, so that makes me feel better. I did email them and the reply I got was

"Our apologies once again for the delay regarding your bulk uploads.
You will receive a reply to your previous email in the near future"

Yeah ok, I hope this is resolved in the very very near future. I'm also a refugee from Yahoo and have 1000's of listings I would like to get up and running

Was just curious if someone could explain in simpler terms about saving the file as a .txt file ("tab delimited" option). I haven't been able to figure that part out on OfficeOpen program.

    Hi Comicsemp,
I haven't used open office for a while,
but I noticed that the google base instructions I was checking out yesterday had a tutorial which includes
saving as a txt file ("tab delimited" option)
It's 47 seconds into slide 2 if you dont want to watch the whole thing.

    Hope this helps

    Good News!

It seems the bulk loader is loading again! Another 500+ of my listings appeared today after I sent the files for the 4th time.

Well its not working right very much. It took me 4 tries over 3 days to get 1 set listed. I sent in another batch so far 3 times over the last 2 days and they haven't been listed yet. Beginning to lose faith in this site
