Hmmm....I just realized that my "mischief maker" might be a genuine buyer after all. They've just paid by Paypal e-cheque - so we'll just have to wait and see.

Definitely WAIT until the cheque has cleared into your account but advise the buyer that this wait can be up to two weeks.

Glad that it's looking better for you though.

    Evening all! : )

Just a quick update. I heard from my 'crossed-outer' today, (they're in the USA so it's taken them a little longer than normal to reply), but it's looking more positive.

I'd be interested to find out why more of us have been experiencing 'crossed-outers' over the last month or so. I certainly haven't seen so many about before. Probably just the growth here on eBid.

Wishing you all, all the best for all your sales! : )

I wonder why it took longer to reply, did the email come by air or sea?

My auctions, good prices, fair p&p.

LOL! That's a good point, but probably not a good idea to get me started on that one! LOL!

Though it does (often) seem to take proportionally longer to receive emails from Customers the further they are away! European Customers normally reply quickly, the States take longer, and Australia takes even longer! Time zones come into it of course, but there's still not much logic in it!

Lol, yes, i see about the time zones but aren't they only on average around 8+ hours, not 2 days, still, at least you got the reply.

Addresses like that are usually in Nigeria, they have some strange addresses there.
