    We Just got a new Camera Pete and I did notice that it said it does raw images............ whatever they are . I bought it as a gift for Mr Button to errrm how can i say it ? keep his mind off things or occupy his mind, so i am not allowed to mess with it..... but the canon is now mine all mine

    i felt your post needed an evil type laugh at the end so i added one lol

    that was nice of u button... hope it does the job

    RAW images are raw data recorded by the camera... like a negative.... they have the most info and are the best quality but there's only certain programs that you can open them in.. you have to save them at tiffs or jpegs but each time you edit and save as a jpeg the quality gets worse... so best to edit as a PSD or tiff then when its all edited save it as a jpeg at the end since most programs can open them...... have i lost u yet?
