Having brought up 4 daughters I do know a few things about the teenage model.
1) They would have been extremely embarassed if they found out that anyone was discussing their underwear on a Forum. They didn't even like the salesgirls in shops measuring them for bras.
2) There would have been no point in buying them any clothes, however close they appeared to be to the stuff their mates wore. The items would have been rejected on principle. If you really think you know best, buy them from M&S, and then they can take them back and change them for something they really do like.
3) Best option - give them money or vouchers, and let them sort it.
My teenage grand daughter took her Birthday money to Primark last year and came back with 5 carrier bags full of the clothes she really liked.
