    Ayup Karen,

No you don't have too many T & C's on your page lass.

If you can use a word processor then download the free html editor on my page. It has a wysiwyg interface that is very easy to use, it also has a few templates too. All you'll need to do is host your pics somewhere then edit the html to point to them. It's very easy to use.

    Hope that helps lass.

Yes I always look at the seller's profile and feedback, although it is surprising how often there is none of either. In my view your profile says alot about you as a trading partner. Even though I am not a professional trader, I try to act professionally.

Another thing that is important (to me anyway) is to mention the cost of P&P. I found a book I would have liked last week but the seller (400+) couldn't be bothered to fill in the Postage. I sent a message along the lines of: If you can't be bothered to list properly, I can't be bothered to buy. The response? - I've got good feedback and don't care.

Nice profile Frank, I can only think of one way to improve it. -Why no mention of eBid on your Deviant Art profile? Missed opportunity there.

BTW does anyone have any comments on mine please?http://uk.four.ebid.net/perl/normal....heir-all-about

    You're welcome lass.

    Thanks.

Unfortunately the new ebid look has beggered up my All About page because they've narrowed the amount of space.

i've updated my all about page too
the new ebid colours inspired me to update

I do read other peoples all about pages as well as their feedback if they are unknown to me before I buy

one thing I can't understand is why some sellers don't add postage to their listings, I have requested P&P costs before now and have had no response from the seller, so now I tend to look elsewhere if the postage costs aren't shown, but I always look at their all about page first just incase there is a general postage/weight quote on there

I like your all about page Frank, your grandchildren are beautiful, and the free links are a nice touch too

    Red face

As a newbie, who has lots of feedback elsewhere but only the tiniest bit here so far, I think that the all about page is very important.

It lets peeps know a little about me and my craft and how I feel about my customers. It's my chance to have a little chat (even tho it's one-sided) with them, and let then know that I'm looking forward to being of assistance in whatever way I can. Plus giving a little background about my experience, lets them know they can trust me and if they want me to do a custom design -- they can know I have the creativity and experience to sort something out for them (as best i can).

So, there you go...that's my opinion!
