Suggestion: Don't add blank after '.' in auction titles

also if you hold down the ALT key and press 0189 at the same time this makes ½ you can also do other fractions but this is the only one hubby caught me as hes says he cannot remember the others (though he says this about a lot of things)

Ann,

It's easier to use Character Map (in Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools), as you can see what you're selecting, copy more than 1 symbol at once, and choose your favourite font at the same time.

Not sure about the original problem, although "1997/8" is still being changed to "1997/ 8", but I've now had "CD-ROM" changed to "CD- ROM", which is also not right!! I've now had to go back and change them all to "CDROM" instead.

I can see you've made changes to the title processing, see above, but there has been no improvement on the previous problems. I've just reposted a number of items and '.' and '/' have blanks added after them, and now '-' has too!!

The new problem with blanks appearing after '-' in titles is worse than I first thought! The addition of blanks is cumulative, so every time you relist an item with '-' in the title, an extra blank is inserted after the '-', even if there is already one there.

Gazza, please can you fix this before it gets out of hand?
