Thread: Combined Postage invoices

  1. #1

    Default Combined Postage invoices

I joined ebid about 2 months ago and thought it would be a good idea to upgrade to platinum so I could sell in the same way as I do on Ebay i.e lots of low priced 'buy it now' craft supplies.
The most important thing for me is the ability to combine postage for customers so they are encouraged to buy more. I'm sure if this did happen it might be obvious how to create a combined invoice but I can't find any intructions or help from ebid on how to do it. Does any body know?

    hi

first thing you need to do is add your paypal email address to your 'my details' page.

after that, when you sell an item. click on it.

at the top is the orange section. from the drop down bar choose send invoice. from in there you can combine purchases.

on 15th march new look system comes into place to make life easier

good luck and welcome to ebid

    Hi welcome to Ebid,

I send a combined invoice to my buyers. If they are happy to pay via Paypal they then do so. If not, they usually then contact me to say they are going to pay by postal order, cheque or direct bank transfer. When payment arrives I then mark as paid. I find the combined invoice so easy to use, the buyer then knows exactly how much to pay and can make payment which is easier for them from the payment options I accept.

    Hope this helps.

Hi you should be able to combine the invoice from the drop down menu in the AAL, when you click on send invoice to should see one item listed there and just above it will say this buyer has also bought ***** do you want to add these items, click yes and they should then all be added to the invoice. then change your postage costs, If you remove any of the postage amounts put in 0.00 in the place.
    Hope that helps

Will that still work if i don't offer paypal as I was hoping to use PPPay to save on Paypal fees and pass the savings on to my cusomers with lower prices.

Yes, when your buyer gets the invoice it will have the buttons on of the payment processors that you accept, so if you havent added your paypal addy to your ebid account they should not get the button. I do think though that some buyers look for paypal though, I know i do.

Oh and dont forget if your buyer hasnt any money in there PPPay account its also going to cost them 49p or something like that extra to send the payment, so in the long run could work out costing them more than if you added the paypal cost in .
