if they were trying to overclock

it may just be a case of returning the bios to it's original settings.


As the PC starts before windows loads you should see something like "press del for SETUP" (it might be another key) if you press whatever key it tells you, it should take to into the BIOS.

They were probably messing in there & should be able to change the settings back, if not.

With any luck your bios will have an option for loading Fail-Safe defaults &/or load Optimised Defaults.
I would try optimised defaults first.

cleaner > Analyze > Run Cleaner
Issues > Scan For Issues > Fix Selected Issues
