Not to mention the extremely dodgy looking auctions for the Xbox 360's. Why such a huge price difference?

It's either fee avoidance (psst the way to stop this is to have final fees based on total price paid DUH) or hoping to catch newbies unawares and in either case the perpetrator should be hung by the goolies.
