Winner can't see paypal button/link in invoice.

I sold item 1163957955-14754-0 yesterday & sent an invoice to the winning bidder, but they cannot see the paypal button (or link)
I've set my paypal address in my personal details, & other buyers have seen & used it in invoices with no problem.

I can see it in the invoice I sent & it works properly if I click on it, but for some reason the buyer cannot, any ideas?

Just checked both of your accounts and it is definitely visible for both.

Can you ask the seller to email us a screenshot of what they are seeing if they are still having trouble.

hi there

when i get emailed invoices, there is a link to click on, which shows the html version opposed to just text

i dont see the paypal button until i click on it and a new window opens up

so it maybe to do with their email settings

have you got them to go to the transaction aal and look at the invoice through there and pay?

however saying that.....

i received an invoice yesterday and i couldnt get the button to do anything for me, not in my email nor through my ebid aal.

i couldnt get the paypal link to work even if i used the drop down in the aal that says pay through paypal

it just didnt do anything when i clicked on the paypal button

it was the first time that i have had this problem, i tried again today and still couldnt, so went straight to paypal to pay the seller that way

i use hotmail and on the invoice, on top left of the email, it has a small link

i have to click on that to view the document with logos and buttons etc
just an idea for something to check anyway

How do I email you a screen shot? Do I just copy and paste it to you. Or should I just forward the email to you? What address do I need to send it to?

Just noticed. If I go to the AAL and PAY BY PAYPAL it works. But in the email invoice I got, there was nothing to take me to paypal.

There's no paypal link for me either, reading the invoice in plain text. It looks like this:

To send us a screenshot press the "print screen" key on your keyboard and then paste it into the email body with Crtl+V. If you are using a web based email (hotmail, yahoo etc) then you will need to save the file on your harddrive by pasting it into a graphics program and saving it as a .jpg, you can then attach it to a web based email.
