It's usually turkry and pork, but this year we're trying duck for a change, so I can't vote either.

googled soylent green and it came up as a sci fi film to do with food - couldnt be bothered read the details lol but can guess

well i normally have stupid turkey - i mean who throughout the year eats gobbledy turkeys - run down sainsburys last minute xmas eve and pray to your Lord theres one left and and at a good price - billiards - why - like Jesus said thou shalt have turkey on my birthday to commemorate my birth lol- and so overpriced and so full of hormones and other carp fish lol - but then delia smith says you must have one and hers how to stuff and cook it and feel good about yourself

    hmmm not sure this year
probably be eclectic and creative and stuff the tradition - i mean i dont even like the taste of turkey
cos its all billiards anyway *grin* on quick reply dont have smileys

    *edit*
forgot to say i voted lamb as a nicely done lamb shank beats any other meat

certainly wont be having pork - after all the carpy fish pigs eat all day i dont like the look or the taste though if im starving will have a bacon sarnie or sausage - and i convince myself that is not as bad as looking at a fatty pork joint *shudders*

perhaps i'm becoming jewish or something lol

i know its a tradition thing and whatever floats your boat i guess but i think the type of thing you eat is far less important than the ritual of cooking, eating / getting with family, reflection etc etc etc

    as for swedes and turnips
NO WAY JOSE!!!! pointless tasteless inventions lol

last random thought to whoever appreciates it
its strange that Jesus is connected with fish and fishermen but fish is the last item on the agenda for a xmas slap up
    hmmmm lol

oh and he did drink and endorse wine so im ok pmsl hes me mate rofl

    enjoy whatever youre having

Soylent green, in the film of the same name, was made from people.

I am having organic Pork this year- my family (read aunt and uncle pmsl) are forcing themselves in me this year. 'Aaah' I hear you all cry. Nope!!

I don't celebrate Christmas, it is about as relevant to me as Diwali... Still, they are insisting that they come down so I won't be alone on Kerissmas day- with 4 kids?? Who are they kidding?? lol

Anyhoo, I can't stand turkey *yuk* and I don't like the way they are treated!! If I wasn't having Pork, it's be fish

    Soapy xxx

PS PMSL @ thou shalt have turkey on my birthday to commemorate my birth.. lolol
