New Categories in Prints Please

Hi

I am new here and was unaware that new categories could be requested until a very kind colleague informed me.

So here gos :

Under Antiques / Art / Prints / From Originals Pre 1900

1 Historic Prints of UK

2. Americana

3. Art Nouveau

4. Vintage Military Prints

5. Prints from 'Old Masters'

6 Famous People

7 Prints on Canvas

8. Other

And in the Collectables / Photographs /

section It would be nice to see more categories please:

1. Pre 1900 / prints / UK

2. Pre 1900 / prints / other

Yes, I think there needs to be some adjustment! All Gerry’s facsimile prints need a higher level category to distinguish them from the antique prints in the pre 1900 section (as per Gerry’s post above). If they're all lumped together it will only cause confusion in the minds of potential buyers. The section is set to grow (I have at least 500 prints to list). It would save a lot of work later, swapping things about, if we could get it right now.

Don’t you think though Gerry that perhaps reproductions of paintings would be better off alongside paintings and prints of photographs with photographs?

We've added a few more cateogries to
Art / Prints / Pre 1900

We will take a more in depth look very soon.
