I am that impressed with Ebid!

Like many others my Mrs and I have decided that we have had enough of feebay and that we are going to start downgrading our shop and transferring most ( if not all! ) of our products over to this top Site. Ebid deserves all the support it can get as in our view this IS the way to run a proper auction Site. Super stuff!

The reason that I'm posting this message in here is that regarding advertising this Site to everyone we deal with ( past & future ), I have come up with my own little 'business card type' flyers. We are now going to package these little beauties with every item we sell on feebay. I am hoping that all our buyers will follow us over after reading these. I have attached a copy with this post.
My Mrs username is 'janjan100653'. ( same as feebay )

We have only listed around 7 items at the moment on eBid as we are just starting to get to grips with the format of the Site. Tomorrow morning we will be sorting through the stock to list dozens more. A hell of a lot of sorting out to do there I'll tell you!

Use the User Search on eBid to show our listings. janjan100653 is my Mrs Username on eBid and on feebay ( at the moment! ;-) )

As you will see from the feedback on feebay, we have accumulated a fair amount of customers for us to inform of the eBid Site. It's no doubt going to take me some time to sort through, but this Site is worth it. And of course, it will benefit not just us, but all of the eBid community. Glad to do my bit.

Apologies for sounding somewhat negative right now, but anyone coming here and expecting to have the same volume of sales as on eBay may well be sorely disappointed to begin with as this is NOTHING LIKE ebay and doesn't have ebay's seemingly endless resources for 'in your face' marketing or bottomless purse to pay for it.

However............ I'm the eternal optimist really, and the future's looking bright

We can certainly put on a lot more stock on eBid simply because of the huge reduction on fees! Quite frustrating on the 'other site' when you know you have so much good quality stock to offer but cannot offer it all in one go because of outrageous fees. Everyone is better off using eBid, buyers and sellers.
To answer your question, I think it will take time to tempt the same amount of customers again. We can't let this put us off though otherwise eBid will never prosper.

I did sell well on the 'other site' but my stock items are low value and the fees were so high. Thought I would give eBid a try and I do find it much easier and quicker to list. It's a good site and it will be interesting to see how well I do.

Got my Mrs to upgrade her eBid account to Lifetime Membership now. We are just waiting for our account to show this up, then we can start our online Store on here! Will be well chuffed.
I personally will be despatching the feebay goods tomorrow, all of which will have the above eBid flyers in. ( Printed loooooads last night ) I highly recommend anyone purchasing these CIS kits for your epson printers. I certainly have no problems printing out these flyers, the ink costs are next to nothing!
Very busy day tomorrow removing items from feebay and placing them on here! :-)
