I you could ask her to send you a sterling cheque made out in uk £, I had one sent to me and it was from citybank. My bank took it no problem

I would have thought paypal would be the best way to go.

PayPal; no question! PayPal (whether we like it or not) serves most of the world and about all of the western countries. You don't have to European based or have a bank a/c there.

hi i am in australia and i would pay by paypal as the best and easiest way to pay.i just wish more people used it.
the more overseas people using it -the more we would buy, because you have a lot of great stuff overseas that we just don't get here.

If you see something you want just ask the seller as most sellers do use it.

Paypal is the easiest way of paying even with their cut but be carefull with cheques even if it is made out in sterling, because if the person sending does not have an agreement with their bank to issue in sterling your bank will hit you with a charge which they quite often do not tell you when you pay it in.You only find out when you read your statement. It has happend to me,so be warned.

Oh sorry what i mean is if they go to their bank and get a cheque made out in sterling by the bank.... I don't know what they are called is it certified or cashiers cheques or something like that. The one i had from Aus, the lady had gone to the bank and they issued it and i wasn't charged by the halifax for that one.
