    Smile Welcome to eBid selling.

I used to sell quite a bit on 'the other' site and, occasionally, still do. Having joined eBid several years ago, I appreciate what they are trying to do here and have certainly done my utmost to encourage buyers, including offering free links to anyone with an eBid shop and including site reviews at every opportunity, but the going is definitely tough. When I push the advertising, I get sales. When I allow it to fall by the wayside, items remain listed for months without as much as a bid. I've now reduced many of my prices and am about to run my new web address (directly linked to my eBid shop) in an on-screen post office advert to see if this boosts interest at all. I'd welcome any ideas or suggestions from other successful eBidders and my offer of a free link from Cyberdosh still stands. Good luck to all and my parting advice would be... start advertising everywhere NOW for your Christmas sales.

    Hi nykmedia,

Do you have the company name for the Post Office adverts? I have seen them and wanted to do this possible but by the time I get home I have forgotten the name.

Saw the posts from Richard - not much to say but that they aren't too keen to keep customers speaking like that

I have two ebid stores. This is for Cats Protection;Lots of beanies, fast food toys, random collectables, some new children's clothes - almost anything really.
this is business and sells skeleton leaves, Thai silk, various vintage postcards, more random collectables
    Both sell discontinued china tableware.

    Hi mfkirke

It was in the business selling board. Title DIBE - now accepts, paypal, nochex, bacs and google checkout.

    Regards,

That comment was very true - only problem is that the VERO is probably going to use it more and this has had a bad impact on some sellers
