Discount-DVDs I think your listings look great, and some of the above ideas could help. For sure as more sellers list on eBid and the amount of items on site grows things will pick up, compertition is always a positive thing, not just having an alternative site to look for great buys but for sellers, I did notice some items in the DVD section that were about £10 to £12 more expensive here than the other site, sellers are sharp and it is only a matter of time before one looks at the compertition and thinks I can do that for less, then things start happening, I have read threads about the price of items and some sellers not happy about great bargains and may even say such cheap offers are not such a good thing, but people who get a bargain are happy folk and if it means looking at other sellers to decide on your price then it may be worth it...If I can get myself into gear and sort my listings maybe I will even start giving some things away...mmmmm..errr ok it may only apply to BUY 2 get 3rd item free....just my thoughts, but Discount-DVDs I wish i could make listings that look as neat as yours, I am sure that you will make a success of selling it is just a matter of time before you thread all your options together and the sign points your way.

Thanks for your comments... I have been trading on feebay for the last year or so activly and sold no end of items but having to pay feebay over £300 in fees each month started to eat into the profits.. The only time I will use feebay now is when they have a free listing day or a 5p listing day and then i will use that to advertise the fact that feebay is not the only UK auctionplace to be..

I am in touch with a new supplier and will be looking to purchase from him in the near future.. I have just dropped my prices as low as I can and still have another 600 titles to add. whit regards to special offers I will need to sell some items first so as not to make a loss but there are a few titles I have that will fall into that area..

its so hard at the mo im self employed if idont sell i dont earn all my auctions have gone dirt cheap with no one bidding putting me at a total loss but il keep smiling september will be here soon lol

Seriously though. I think its a bit of hit and miss I'm afraid. I have been doing a bit more since opening the baby store but before that I wasn't getting very many sale at all. Just the odd one.

I think adverising is the key but everyone is expecting Ebid to do it. Which is unfair. The auctions will not stay free or low for the featured ones if they advertise on TV or Radio. I am afraid it is up to ourselves to advertise.
Banners in your local shops. stickies on our mailings and so on. You are doing your bit by adding links into your website. I think you are doing great but you will have to give it a little time. I know it's a bit slower but, we are just going to have to wait and see if things pick up.

Very busy. I am a glutton for punishment. I am trying to get my outfit finished for my daughters wedding on Friday. Trying to get myself organised for work tomorrow. Then I go and set myself up for my YDC auction, as if I don't have enough to do. (LOL

In between all that I have been buying stuff and plugging some shops on my thread on "What would you like to buy on Ebid". I still have some searching to do but it will have to wait until tomorrow. I will have to get on with something else as it is getting late.

If you blackball someone you stop them from bidding on your auctions untill you unblackball them and you can also remove there bids from your auctions. then you can remove your auctions as they do not have bids on them
